Black Widow, Sifton moving to Sturgis

Lockwood Engineering, doing business as Sifton Racing Cams and Black Widow Cams, plan to relocate from Littleton, CO, to Sturgis, the Sturgis Economic Development Corp announced.

In July, Lockwood owners Craig and Vikki Lockwood purchased a 1-acre parcel in the Sturgis Industrial Park. They plan to construct a building there to house their camshaft and machining services. The company offers complete Harley-Davidson tuning services and Harley-Davidson and S & S engine remanufacturing.

The Lockwoods will also bring the renowned S & S Pro Tuning Center banner to the region, as well as, vintage automotive and motorcycle engines.

Black Widow Cams and Sifton Racing Cams will be a great addition to the Black Hills’ growing motorcycle parts and aftermarket industry. For years these firms have been coming to the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. In recent years, as many as a dozen small companies have opted to make the Black Hills their year-around home.
